March Prayer Focus

This month, our theme is outreach and missions.

Week One: Pray to have opportunities to witness and reach out to others. Put your friends and family that are not saved on your regular prayer list and lift their souls up.

Week Two: Pray for an opportunity to reach out to your neighborhood or city. Ask for a chance to Serve our City or your block: Plant a tree, clean up a corner, host a block party, invite a neighbor to tea or coffee, help someone with lawn work, or help shovel snow. Let someone know you are there, and you care.

Week Three: Pray for an outreach or parachurch program you admire. For example, Focus on the Family, Inside Connection, and Mackenzie House. Lift them up daily. Pray for their leadership and workers, their finances, and their efficacy. Pray how else you can support them.

Week Four: Pray for missions. Ask God how you should serve? As a financial supporter, a prayer warrior, a participant in a short-term placement, as a vocation. Remember our missionaries and pray for them by name.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matt 28:19-20
